Isabel Gernand and Valentin Schmid participated in the "From Cells to Tissues: Models, analysis and Applications" summer school held at Lake Como School of Advanced Studies from June 10th to June 14th, 2024 in Como, Italy. The event was organized by researchers from Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Milano and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique as well as the Fondazione Alessandro Volta. 

The intensive program provided advanced training in the latest methodologies and applications for cellular and tissue modeling and analysis. Participants were offered the opportunity to present their own research and the school created a nice atmosphere for scientific exchange and lively discussions.
