EMCL is proud to be coordinator of the newly BMBF-funded project KI-Morph, which is a joint collaboration of Heidelberg University, including besides EMCL the Centre of Organismal Studies (COS), and the University computing center, together with the Laboratory for Applications of Synchrotron Radiation (LAS) at KIT and the Stuttgart State Museum of Natural History. At the beginning of April 2023, we kicked-off this three-year project with a joint meeting at EMCL. The aim of this project is to provide the algorithms and infrastructure for petabyte-scale image analysis and processing of 3D tomographic images for various areas of life sciences.
