Participation at UNCECOMP 2019 conference
From 24th to 26th June 2019, the UNCECOMP conference took place in Crete, Greece
The 3rd International Conference on Uncertainty Quantification in Computational Sciences and Engineering (UNCECOMP) took place in Crete from the 24th to 26th June, and the UNCECOMP is one of the Thematic Conferences of European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS). The UNCECOMP is organized in conjunction with the International Conference on Computational Methods in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering (COMPDYN) every two years. There were more than 900 researchers participated this conference this time, which provides the opportunity to discuss about the current developments in Uncertainty Quantification (UQ), especially in computational science.
EMCL was represented at this occasion with a talk on “uncertainty assessment of the blood pump in a FDA blood pump” by Chen Song in the topic of large-scale stochastic finite element applications.
