World Congress in Computational Mechanics (WCCM 18) conference in New York City
From 22th to 29h July 2018, the 13th World Congress in Computational Mechanics took place in New York City, USA.
With more than 3500 participants from academia, government and industry, the WCCM is among the largest Computational Mechanics gatherings in the United States. The 300 minisymposia covered a wide range of different topics, from applied mathematics over data analysis to specific engineering applications.
EMCL was present at the conference with talks on „Biomedisa: Fast and Accurate Segmentation of Fossil Insects from Synchrotron X-ray Microtomography Images“ given by Philipp Lösel and "Finite Element Approximation for Thermal Electro Hydrodynamical Boussinesq Equations" given by Philipp Gerstner.
