From 11th to 13th July 2018, the 20th International Couette Taylor Workshop took place in Marseille, France.
 

The ICTW has a tradition over more than 40 years and is devoted to fundamental problems in fluid mechanics, with particular emphasis on nonlinear dynamics and flow instabilities. The presentations of around 60 participants covered experimental, theoretical and computational investigations on Taylor-Couette and related flows.

EMCL was present at the workshop with a talk on "Finite Element Simulation of Thermal Electro-Hydrodynamic Driven Flow in Annular Geometry" given by Philipp Gerstner.
