From 11th to 15th June 2018, the ECCM - ECFD 2018 conference jointly took place in Glasgow, UK.
 

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ECCOMAS, the 6th European Conference on Computational Mechanics (ECCM) and the 7th European Conference on Computational Fluid Dynamics (ECFD) was jointly organised in Glasgow, UK. The five-days conference with more than 1700 participants gave a lot of opportunity to discuss the different research topics in computational engineering.

The large number of minisymposia included talks from modeling highly complex problems and advances in numerical methods to coping with uncertainties in the simulations. EMCL was present at the conference with a talk on "A Probability Measure for Aortic Vessel Wall Overload based on Fluid-Structure Interaction Simulations" given by Jonas Kratzke.
