EMCL Retreat
Time went by all to quickly, the days were beautiful and yes, maybe, we will come back!
For this year's internal retreat of the EMCL, we spent five days in Hopfen am See, picturesquely located in the Allgäu, near the city of Füssen.
This year the main focus of the retreat was laid on the preparation of a common scientific paper related to the HiFlow3 Project, which provides comprehensive and detailed information about applications and updates of the last two years.
After intensive scientific work, we went out into nature: So we explored the region in three hikes to the Forgensee (with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle), the Faule See and the Schlossbergalm in Eisenberg. Nearly all colleagues proved their courage by “conquering” the suspension bridge Highline 179 in Reute/Tirol, which is also the longest Tibet style footbridge in the world and after that: also climbed up the Schlossberg Ehrenburg.
It only remains to say: Time went by all to quickly, the days were beautiful and yes, maybe, we will come back.
